janewilliams20....but I'm just not tired. Great evening at the LondonGlorantha pub meet. Only four of us this time: me, Nick, Trotsky, Dr. Moose. Rob was meant to turn up, and so was Pete the Viking, but no shows. So we went to the Souk, then to a frozen yoghurt place in Leicester Square for coffee.
Home, and I thought I'd check email and put that story on the Yahoo Group that suggested I write it. Oops. Word files with photos in are big. So I set it up as a proper web page instead, in the Stories area of my Glorantha site. Tweaked the stylesheet to make it easier to handle pictures. Linked, on-line, advertised in the group... and I'm not tired. I'm going to regret this in the morning (erm, later in the morning), I can tell.
Got that Pome memorised on the train on the way there.
Discussed story-telling at the next Continuum, Trotsky's going to offer to run it, I'm going to introduce them to the Story-ball, and we have plans for complementary stories to tell there. Just got to write a myth or two.
Had another bash at the Glorantha Harp story (a romantic tragedy, not my usual style at all) on the way back. I'd love to have that ready to tell at Continuum. Let's see if Gwen's tuition next weekend gives me any clues - I'm getting all excited about that, and I've still got a revel in between!
Story-writing rather than telling, looks like three of the four of us are writing stuff for the Continuum con book. And we all agree about the likelihood of my squashing "Captured" down to 4000 words. No way. Better to write something new. But not tonight!
