It's a good word. I don't think it's what was intended in the context in which I found it, but it's a good word. The question is, what does/could it mean?
Ot at least something to do with a German wine, yes, I can see that. What does the "ad-" imply, though? Something that happens after drinking Hock? Some substance produced while making it?

It means "to this" in the sense of appertaining to something or regarding something - but it seems to be used most to mean "regarding this action or situation", for example making an ad hoc decision is to make a decision this time that might not extend to the next occasion
