Tried to post this from the phone and email yesterday, but it didn't get through :(
Cyber leg and crutches. I can cope on a smooth level surface, though a walk round most of a supermarket is my distance record. I can manage steps with difficulty. Slopes down are taken with care, slopes up are very hard work, uneven surfaces and camber are ow, ow, ow. Moving uneven surfaces? Don't be silly.

So we took the car down into the town, walked from car park around shops for 15 min or so, back to the station and boarded the steam train.
That took us to the ferry across the Dart ( sloped ramp, step across the gap and up on to a moving boat) and then we could join the queue for the paddle steamer. Some of the photos I took during that cruise were while standing on a moving boat, both hands on camera not crutches.
Then we looked round Dartmouth, which is a lovely little town with cobbled streets, and had lunch at the top of a hill. Looked round a church, did a few more little streets, and back along the prom to the ferry after a hour's walk. Once the train had delivered us back to Paignton, we went up and down the main shopping street and round the penny arcades before going back to the car, and walked back up the slope from the main car park rather than dropping me in the pickup area.
I'm a bit tired.
