My route to work, on Google Maps
Sep. 11th, 2007 12:29 pmGoogle maps now lets you drag&drop the line it produces when you tell it to give directions. As a result, I can now get it to display my real route to work, not the one it came up with.

There used to be a coach tour of some of the prettiest villages in Bedfordshire. This covers some of them.

This isn't an easy route to drive, it's too narrow, twisty, and full of potholes for that. But it's fun. In winter it doesn't get gritted, so I have to fall back on my secondary route, through three more pretty villages and past the oldest Maypole in the country. But this one's nicer :)
