janewilliams20You know we had takeaway curry Monday night? We ordered a bit much, so Tuesday nigth dinner was... yes, the end of the curry. The rather-too-hot Madras was much improved by yoghurt. And then it was back to the armies...
Last night the Mini arrived in the post. I have all the Whales based, and the Albatross is glued, cut out, and attached to its flying stand. I have four elephants in the Mini: think bronze elephant-shaped charms, with the loop cut off, put into the the Mini with tweezers, BluTak, and rude words. Some of them are upside-down, but I have two in the front and two in the back. I've got some tarmac texture printed out for the road, I've chased down photos of a few roadsigns, but not yet put all this together.
Dave's little tanks have been placed on bases, but not glued or painted, with the exception of his water lurker, where I lent him the end of the texture/glue I was using on mine. A mix of PVA and green and black poster paint.
The Chess adaptation needs the army list redoing with the quotes at the top. The tiny harp charm needs attaching to the Castle (no chopping here: it cost me over a tenner and will be on my charm bracelet afterwards), I need to give one of the Kings a Cloak, and I've printed off some Welsh flags for general use. One of them can go on a flagpole.
Sheep need an army list and a measuring stick.
I should be doing at least some of this in lunchbreak, not updating LJ...
