I've been pointed at this advert, but I don't think it'll ever catch on.

Sorry, but the review I saw said that far from being "incredible", the NPC AI was absolutely dreadful, in particular that for movement of cars and pedestrians - "it's as if three quarters of them are driven by morons" as the reviewer put it. Some servers are also reported to be horribly overcrowded, and the game in general has an excess of griefers and non-consensual PvP.

And don't even ask about the bugs - they can't even try to count the number of types, let alone how many there are!

Yeah, I've taken a quick look, and it isn't just an implementation problem, it's basic unintelligent design.

Also, the thing about "no monthly fee" appears to be about as accurate as it usually is. Sure, you can play for free, but you wouldn't want to.

I'll give this one a miss.

Indeed, and even the graphics, which are superficially impressive, have been said by some critics to pale before those of Tekken III.

The "massive world to explore" is all very well -- but I hear you have to grind for *years* to build up your first home-base where you can put stuf down without it being looted.

I played that game once, got attacked by these things called chavs... my character died quickly... was annoying... the game still sits on my shelf :)
