Yesterday, a colleague recommended that I move up from Wii Fit to the Plus version, mainly because of a game called "obstacle course" in which one runs and jumps in order to dodge incoming large objects.
I took his advice, and loaded up Plus. I never tried the game he'd suggested - what enthralled me was the cycling. I'd run round the island before, on the jogging app, but had been frustrated by the fixed routes and inability to explore. The cycling lets me go whereever I like, and my pet dog dodges my bike with impressive agility, as do other runners.
So, he prefers a fixed-route game in which things happen to him and he attempts to dodge them, while I prefer a free-route game where I happen to things and they attempt to dodge me.
Considering the default gender position on being proactive or reactive, that's quite interesting, if not surprising.
