Exotic dining in Biggleswade
Dec. 12th, 2008 08:20 pmWe could have gone for Chinese, Thai, good Italian, normal Indian, fusion Indian, various trad C16 Brit pubs, French, seafood... we decided on the tapas bar in the old Maltings. Real oak beams, roaring log fires supplied by flat screen TV, excellent food, teas, coffees, wines, beers... I love this high-class multi-national city I live in - the one that's a little market town, so small that I live on the outskirts and walk to all these places.
Tonight's new beer is Estrella, from Barcelona. A slightly bitter aftertaste for me, I think I still prefer German beer, but Dave says it's a very clear, clean taste. It worked well with oily tapas, anyway.
