Exotic dining in Biggleswade

We could have gone for Chinese, Thai, good Italian, normal Indian, fusion Indian, various trad C16 Brit pubs, French, seafood... we decided on the tapas bar in the old Maltings. Real oak beams, roaring log fires supplied by flat screen TV, excellent food, teas, coffees, wines, beers... I love this high-class multi-national city I live in - the one that's a little market town, so small that I live on the outskirts and walk to all these places.

Tonight's new beer is Estrella, from Barcelona. A slightly bitter aftertaste for me, I think I still prefer German beer, but Dave says it's a very clear, clean taste. It worked well with oily tapas, anyway.

Today's new medical phrase is "planar fasciitis"

Which translates as "my foot hurts". Inflammation of the instep tendons, right foot. Apparently my usual "ignore it and it'll go away" wouldn't have worked even without the lymphoedema. Anti-inflammatories, and stretching exercises.
Meanwhile, the ulcer scar on the other leg is red round the edges, and hurts. Me, infection, lymphoedema + white blood cell trouble = antibiotics. One prescription per leg - I'll start to rattle soon.
