In a desperate attempt to bribe myself into exercise, we remembered enjoying Kelly's Wii for downhill skiing. We looked at what was involved in a Wii Fit, and a few games, and bought one on Saturday. I did some skiing last night, and this morning not only skiied (breaking open the Advanced level!) but also did two sessions of step aerobics. My Mii (avatar) stepped in time with a lot of other Miis, and got clapped.
When I've got the hang of this a bit more, there's a game called Zelda that apparently involves waving a sword and shield about. I am bribing myself again - I can try that once I've been through every Fit exercise at least once, and the sports on the free sports disc. This may take a while, because I'm unlocking new things to try: tightrope walking is now an option.
It also tells me I lost a pound since last time, and makes encouraging noises no matter what.

* Grab the nearest book.
* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST

Doing this in work: will also do it from home, later.

"Building effective ASP.NET 2.0 web applications"

page 56 only has three sentences, plus a diagram! So I continue counting on to page 57...

"When designing a page, you will typically want to lock the Toolbox open, as it contains all of the controls and components that you can drag onto your page."

Personal note: no, I don't. I spend far more time hand-coding than I do drag&dropping, and I'm new to this thing.
