It's those little improvements...

Years ago, I cooked my first ever Xmas dinner. Much planning and panicing later, we had roast turkey, we had veggies that were neither raw nor burnt, we had packet stuffing, and the gravy was recognisable as gravy - just.
Tonight, after a tiring day, we had a meal based on what was in the freezer that needed using, and what had come in the organic veg box. I threw it together while doing a few other things without really thinking about it. Roast turkey, a few veg (spuds, roast rosemary parsnips, cabbage&bacon.... what's "plain" mean?), a homemade stuffing, gravy....
