Writing, but not in Glorantha

I've been playing an on-line game called Knight Fight.

You run a knight, who, well, fights people... other knights, in fact. Grab the gold and XP, level up, improve skills, buy more equipment, repeat. And you can be in "Guilds", and you can be Good or Evil. Simple, but fun.

I have three knights, one on each server. The one on server 1, Ragna Half-demon, is Evil, and specialises in the berserker fighting style: great big sword, no armour or shield. Very simple, and good fun.

But this is me, and I started chatting to people IC as well as OOC, and finding out more about Ragna, and... well, I already had a little KnightFight page with some useful stats on, so now it also has some scene setting for Ragna. It seems that I can write horror. The quiet and subtle understated sort of horror - I think the most terrifying sentence in there is "She kissed Mummy goodnight". It's short, but I was quite pleased with that.

The buzzards are back!

Last year, and the year before, we had a pair of buzzards in the area, wiith their territory including the Bedford end of my route to work. I saw one of them a few weeks back, and hoped. Yesterday morning - both. And a very definite display flight in progress. I have no idea where in their range the nest may be, I only get to see one strip of it, and they cover several miles. But we have buzzards!
