The weekend:
tattercoats take note!
Aug. 11th, 2006 12:58 pmOff to a 60th birthday party in Bristol. Not that I can believe Brenda is anywhere near 60, but that's what she says. She also says "my friends are a pretty creative lot and there will be dancing, poetry, story telling and musicians". Which all sounds good. I am promised a
tattercoats and associated P, but no
vaurien. So, despite not having played the poor thing in months, the Harp is going in the car, because everyone likes twiddling with a harp, and
vaurien won't be there to be offended by it.
Drive down Saturday morning, stay over, go home again Sunday morning in time to help Dave make poles for the new Washington Artillery awning, is the plan. Thereby missing
melismobile, who depending on dropping people off on flights might get there by 12:30 Sunday or might not :(
Might take a bit of sewing to keep my hands occupied - I'd like to get that second vivandiere shirt finished in time for the Gunpowder Mills event.
