Haven't seen that for a long time

On the way to work yesterday, there was a horse & rider coming the other way. And they used hand-signals. Not just the standard turning left, turning right, though that would have been amazing enough. No, this was the "I am slowing down and about to stop" one (which they then did). I don't think I've seen anyone use that since I took my cycling proficiency test (mumble) years ago, it took me a moment to remember what it meant. Nice!
