For my FL who write...

Picked up this through [livejournal.com profile] soren_nyrond: a couple of LJ communities that do little writing contests. A few hundred words, once a week, to a given theme. Looks like good practice to me. [livejournal.com profile] pass_the_pencil
is new, and it came out of [livejournal.com profile] paper_feelings.

about the harp again...

I am sorry for off-topic!
You used to give me the link to Denwar harps, and I found it very useful and interesting, thank you! But here is the question that arose - can you tell me - how did your harp survive the change of climate? I mean, is the wood still OK?
Thank you very much for reply,
Nadia

It had no problems at all. It flew over, and I expected a few problems with it staying in tune, but nothing: well, no more than you'd expect from a brand-new harp. The wood is absolutely fine. They did warn of possible problems (is that still on their web-site?) but I had no trouble at all.

no, i haven't seen any warning, but my teacher told me something about those problems... thanks! I will think further, but it seems that i just fell in love with the Clarsach26 :)

Oh? Wire-strung, not gut/nylon? You do realise that's a different playing technique, don't you?

(Sounds lovely, though!)

I am talking about nylon-strung Clarsach, is also available at Denwar...
