I have just had a whole grilled trout stuffed with crab meat, in a creamy dill sauce, with new spuds and assorted beautifully prepared veg. Quantity - too much for me to finish (this takes some doing). Price - £7.50.
Dave has just failed to finish something like half a pound of gammon, complete with egg, pineapple, chips, peas, toms... His initial comment : "I don't believe it, even the chips are to die for." Cost, under a tenner. We are now working our way through the real ales and the scrumpy.
